South Africa Cricket Team Schedule in ODI World Cup 2023: International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday announced the schedule of the One Day World Cup 2023, set to be hosted in India in October-November. Following a disappointing performance in the 2019 edition of the ODI World Cup, South Africa will be eager to forget the past, make a solid start in this year’s edition as the Proteas will aim to qualify for their first-ever ICC tournament finals. South Africa will begin their ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 campaign with a match against the second winner of the qualifiers on October 7, 2023 (Tuesday) in Delhi. Following this, 1998 ICC Champions Trophy winners South Africa will play against Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2, England, Bangladesh, Pakistan, New Zealand, India and Afghanistan on 7, 13, 17, 21, 24, 27 October, 1, 5 and 10 November respectively .

ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 will begin on October 5 with a match between defending champions England and runners-up New Zealand.  The first semi-final of ODI World Cup 2023 will be played in Mumbai on November 15 and the second semi-final in Kolkata the next day on November 16, both semi-finals will have a reserve day.

The final match will be played in Ahmedabad on November 19 while November 20 has been kept as the reserve day. Ten teams will participate in the World Cup, out of which eight have qualified and the remaining two teams will enter the World Cup through the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup qualifiers in Zimbabwe.
