Former India great Sachin Tendulkar has come up with a few suggestions for England. He said the English team can win the match if they bat wisely on Day 4. England needs 224 runs to win the game with 10 wickets in hand on Day 4 at Headingley in Leeds. Just ahead of Day 4, Sachin took to his Twitter handle to convert that the initial hour on Day 4 will be vital for England. Earlier, the English team restricted the Kangaroos to 224 runs and ended Day 3 at 27 for no loss.

“The first hour at Headingley is going to be critical tomorrow. I feel the wicket is playing absolutely fine and if England bat sensibly and are positive in their approach they will get there. They require discipline in their shot selection with a positive approach and the total will be chased,” said Tendulkar.

In reply, the hosts struggled initially but then the skipper Ben Stokes played a crucial innings (80 off 108 balls) and helped England make 237 in their second innings. For Australia, Mitchell Starc took two wickets, while Marsh and Todd Murphy picked one wicket each.

The Kangaroos started Day 3 play with a score of 116/4 in their second innings. When the game started, the visitors kept losing wickets at regular intervals after the rain washed out most of Day 3. But then, Travis Head (77 off 112 balls) registered a solid half-century as Australia scored 224 and gave England a target of 251 runs to win.
