New Delhi: As Virat Kohli reached his 50th ODI century in the India vs. New Zealand World Cup semi-final at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, Anushka Sharma expressed her happiness. She wrote an emotional note for the cricket star on Instagram after showering him with kisses while they were in the stadium. She describes him in the note as “God’s child.”
Anushka posted a photo of Virat Kohli on her Instagram Stories. The caption read, “God is the best scriptwriter! Utterly grateful to him for blessing me with your love, and to watch you grow from strength to strength and achieve all that you have and will, being honest to yourself and to the sport always. You are truly God’s child.”
Anushka also posted a photo of Team India’s star players along with the caption, “This. gun. team.”
India won by 70 runs against New Zealand to make it to the World Cup final, where it will play Australia.
Despite pregnancy rumors, Anushka keeps showing up to Team India’s major matches. Fan speculation is ongoing as she and Virat have neither acknowledged nor refuted the rumors.
Prior to that, a video that captured Anushka and Virat walking through a hotel lobby became viral a few days ago. Fans soon started to say that the actor looked to be expecting.
Anushka Sharma headed to Mumbai on Wednesday to cheer on Virat Kohli in the India vs. New Zealand World Cup semifinal. The actor and cricket player shared a cute moment on camera when they gave each other flying kisses.
After dating for a while, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Italy in 2017. Only the couple’s family members and a select group of close friends attended the highly private ceremony that took place in Italy. In January 2021, they welcomed Vamika, their daughter.
