India Succumb To 38-Run Defeat In Series Opener
Meanwhile, India succumbed to a 38-run defeat in the series opener. While England Women scored 197/6, riding on Nat-Sciver Brunt’s 77 off 53 and Danni Wyatt’s 75 off 47, in the run-chase, despite Shafali Verma’s 52 off 42 and Harmanpreet Kaur’s 26 off 21, India could only manage 159/6.
