Pakistan captain Babar Azam has started off Asia Cup 2023 in a sensational manner scoring a hundred in the tournament opener against Nepal in Multan on Wednesday (August 30). While the World’s number 1 ranked ODI side had started as overwhelming favourites against Nepal who were taking on Pakistan for the first time, the Rohit Paudel-led side did make Pakistan work hard for the runs especially initially. Pakistan were at one stage 25/2 and later 124/4 but Babar slammed a superb hundred to ensure that they get on the way of posting a formidable first innings total.
Soon after Babar scored a ton, which was his 19th in One Day Internationals (ODIs), reactions started pouring in on social media.
