AUS vs WI 3rd T20I: Spencer Johnson Stuns Andre Russell With Nasty Bouncer – WATCH

Australia and West Indies are facing off in the third and final AUS vs WI T20I of the series at Perth Stadium on February 13 (Tuesday). West Indies’ Rovman Powell won the toss and chose to bat first, opting to send Australia in to bowl. West Indies didn’t have the ideal start, finding themselves at 80-5 after 9 overs. One noteworthy incident that caught the attention of many was a fierce bouncer delivered by Australia’s Spencer Johnson to Andre Russell, leading to the latter falling to the ground in a belly-up position.

On the opening delivery of the 10th over, which was Andre Russell’s second in the innings, Spencer Johnson delivered a ball that rose sharply from just short of a good length on the middle and leg-stump line. Despite Russell’s attempt to evade, the pace of the ball made it challenging, hitting him on the gloves. Consequently, the force of the impact caused him to fall backward onto his back.

However, Roston Chase shifted the momentum of the game by taking two wickets in a single over during the 14th over. In that crucial over, Chase dismissed David Warner and Josh Inglis.
