Mohammed Shami and Prasidh Krishna, who haven’t played a single match in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 tournament so far, are expected to come in as replacements for Bumrah and Siraj. There is also a possibility that the team management may consider dropping star all-rounder Hardik Pandya, bring in Shardul Thakur as his replacement in India XI. Also, either Suryakumar Yadav or Tilak Verma may get a chance.
