New Delhi: The final of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 will be held on November 19 (Sunday) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, with India fighting against Australia. On Saturday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced all of the festivities and notable guests who will be attending the final at the biggest cricket stadium in the globe. The event would include 500 dancers from Mumbai grooving to hit Bollywood songs.

The ICC announced a four-part ceremony for the end, and India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend. The BCCI is planning a spectacular fireworks display on the last day of the tournament, which will culminate in a day of music and light shows. The programme will begin at 12:30 pm (IST).

Aditya Gadhvi, the ‘Gotilo’ singer who became a hit thanks to his performance on Coke Studio, will sing during the first innings drinks break. Following that, great vocalists like as Jonita Gandhi, Nakash Aziz, Amit Mishra, Akasa Singh, Tushar Joshi and many more will deliver heartfelt musical numbers.

During the mid-innings break, Pritam and a group of vocalists will perform on specially designed float vehicles, making a circuit around the pitch while 500 dancers construct different shapes. Songs like ‘Deva Deva,’ ‘Kesariya,’ ‘Lehra Do,’ and ‘Jeetega Jeetega’ are expected to be included in his 10-minute set.

As per multiple news sources, Hollywood singer Dua Lipa, who was about to perform at IND vs AUS World Cup, will not be attending the match.

The BCCI will pay tribute to the World Cup-winning leaders of each country during the break. Both Kapil Dev (1983) and Mahendra Singh Dhoni (2011), captains of the winning Indian teams, will be participating.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel had a high-level meeting on Friday to assess all of the preparations made for the match in Ahmedabad, including those related to security, sanitation and traffic management.
