MS Dhoni is all set to represent Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2024. The wicketkeeper-batter who announced his retirement from international cricket in 2020 led the Men in Yellow to their record-equalling fifth IPL title last year and has been retained by the franchise yet again ahead of the 2024 edition of the T20 tournament. One of India’s brightest cricket stars in terms of popularity, Dhoni is known to be loyal to all those who supported him during his days of struggle as he tried to make a mark as a cricketer.
And now in yet another video doing the rounds on social media from Dhoni’s home town of Ranchi, there is another evidence of the love that the stumper continues to shower on those who had a role to play in his journey as he came from middle-class backgrounds and went on to lead India to World Cup glory among other heights. While earlier Dhoni was seen practising with sticker of the shop that his childhood friend Paramjit Singh owns, in the recent video, Dhoni has gifted one such signed bat to his friend.
“I’m feeling very proud, MS has always been there with us, that’s our friendship, he’s given me his signed bat,” Paramjit told Sports Tak in Hindi.
Take a look at the video here:
