In response to the skyrocketing demand for flights, airline companies have increased both the frequency and the fares of flights. The final match is expected to draw a large crowd, contributing to the escalating demand for air travel.

With the Cricket World Cup final coinciding with the festive celebrations, airlines are operating additional flights. Both IndiGo and Vistara are now offering more flights from cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru to Ahmedabad, as per ABP Asmita’s report.

Delhi to Ahmedabad flight fares have reached Rs 14,000 to Rs 39,000. The people coming from Mumbai have to pay Rs 10,000 to Rs 32,000. The fare from Bengaluru has increased somewhere from Rs 27,000 to Rs 33,000. The cost of a flight from Kolkata to Ahmedabad is touching Rs 40,000, as per ABP Asmita.

Multiple airlines have reported a significant increase in bookings through various online platforms. For flights departing from Mumbai to Ahmedabad on November 18, there are 18 flights scheduled, with a notable surge in ticket prices.

Not only in Ahmedabad but in Vadodara too, the demand from travellers has seen a notable rise. Vadodara, being just two hours away from Ahmedabad, is emerging as an alternative for those who cannot secure tickets to Ahmedabad, ABP Asmita reported. With the increase in demand, airlines are exploring options to announce new flights, making the skies busier during this cricketing extravaganza.
