Delhi Capitals star Prithvi Shaw was spotted training ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction in December. Even though the right-handed batter was retained by the franchise and scored a record-breaking double hundred while plying his trade for Northamptonshire in the One Day Cup in England, there is still work to be done as far as regaining a spot in the Indian national team is concerned. Post his double hundred, Shaw sustained an injury and missed out on the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Moreover, there is still no update on his potential return in the domestic cricket circuit.
However, in the video getting viral on social media, Shaw can be seen practicing his batting in an indoor-net facility. While he plays some good-looking punches in the clip, fans have questioned his fitness in the video and reckons he needs to shed a few kilos to make the most of his batting talent and perhaps try and get a place in the Indian side.

There was a time when he was supped to be the next big thing in Indian cricket hope he finds his mojo back and not go down as one of the players who could have been.
